The Fault in Our Stars

"My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations.”

Have you ever read a book and fell in love with the characters so much that you felt like you were truly invested into their life? That's how I feel about Hazel and Augustus. I've never read a book that was so eye opening, so awe-inspiring. It's everything you need in a book and more. This is the second book I have read by John Green (Looking for Alaska) and I can't help but admire the way he strings his words together. He manages to take a book that should've been filled with sadness into a book filled with joy and sweet memories. It's deep and thought provoking, has funny banter throughout the store and filled with lots of love. If you haven't read this book I highly recommend it! Also, if you do read it please let me know what you thought about it. (:

"I am," he said. He was staring at me, and I could see the corners of his eyes crinkling. "I'm in love with you, and I'm not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things. I'm in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we're all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we'll ever have, and I am in love with you."
