Thavy Time

Thanksgiving, finals, and Christmas. Now that I have a little more free time I can start blogging again. Even though I haven't updated in months. (sorry) I'll begin with whats going on with myself. I'm currently in the market for a new job and I've been trying to prep myself for the interview process. There is a question that is always asked that stumps me every time and its, "tell me about yourself?" I mean, woah, where do I begin? I have so many things about myself that I want to share, should share, but at that moment my mind goes blank. Nothing. So I decided to make a list of things about me, anything that I could think of just to get my brain flowing, and then narrow it down to items that are relatable to the position. I want to share ten of the quirky facts that I came up with but didn't necessarily work for the job.

1. I have an unhealthy obsession with Harry Potter.

2. I strongly believe that music soothes the soul.

3. I love learning about different languages & cultures.

4. I could watch reruns of Friends & The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air for hours.

5. I don't know how to swim. (I'm trying to learn!)

6. I want to take a cooking class. 

7. Home body. I spend about 85% of my free time at home.

8. I enjoy reading. I think it's pretty magical.

9. I'm afraid of thunder. It makes me think my roof is going to collapse.

10. Always checking behind my shower curtain for "bad guys". Yet, I haven't decided what to do if I were to find someone there. Maybe hit them with my shampoo bottle?!
