Lately I’ve been obsessed with makeup brushes and how to
display them. While I was shopping for new makeup items I noticed how Sephora
displayed their brushes and I fell in love. They had them in clear glass-like
containers filled with little clear beads. I looked far and wide across Google
trying to find out what these beads are but to no avail I was unable to locate
the exact beads that they used. However, I did stumble upon these clear beads
by Darice that are rather similar and budget friendly!
I found it at Walmart for less than $5 with tax! What a
steal. They are used for creating dolls or beanbags but also work perfectly for
this project.
I purchased this glass candleholder at Party City on
clearance for $1!
Supplies:
1 bag of Darice 1lb. (filled two of my candleholders)
Candleholder (quantity amount is up to you)
Now, all you have to do is fill the candleholder with the
beads and then place your brushes however you like. Tip: Don’t fill your
candleholder all the way to the top with the beads because once you add your
brushes it will cause the beads to overflow.
Total time: Less than five minutes.
Out of pocket expense: $6
Happy D.I.Y!
